Oregon Green

There's a little park outside of Brookings named Alfred Loeb State Park. I loved it despite the fact it was absolutely pouring. The scene above was one I would have loved to work for an hour, if not more, but the rain didn't give me the opportunity. I also loved the new growth in the ferns but almost took a header trying to get down on the ground to photograph them since the ground was so slick. Even if I had nothing to show for my time there, it was stll worth it. Just one of those lovely and charming places that stays with you for a long time.

The 1st fern below had a poloroid transfer filter applied to it just for fun.

Hi Cabby: These are beautiful. I love the ferns. The poloroid transfer makes it look like a sea horse to me. Looks like you found a beautiful spot!
