This series of four are a bit different than what you usually see from me. The first few days I was at the Canyon, it was very hot with blue sky, very few clouds and far too many people. Daytime shooting was impossible and sunsets didn't have much character without clouds. However, I was drawn to the hazy silhouettes before the sunrise and well after sunset. It also seemed to me that the colors intensified for a few minutes before complete darkness and before the actual sunrise. I think these are about as abstract as I can get!
